From the PLC directly to the cloud. Even without cloud, MQTT can be used within the factory for fast connection of production data to MES systems or other IioT projects. The data exchange is based on the publisher and subscriber principle. The PLC programmer retains the upper hand.

ModbusTCP is widely used in automation technology and can be retrofitted on many devices and test benches such as IPCs. With suitable gateways, e.g. a PLC with PROFINET can be connected to a ModbusTCP network.
